Biography

James was born about 1760, given the birth date of his wife.

Nothing is known about James other than he married Dinah, daughter of Samuel Paynton and Lydia Devonport Francklyn in 1785 at Handborough, Oxfordshire, both being 'of this parish'[1]. He must have been alive to at least 1806 since their last child was christened in 1807.
