Michael Goulston was born in 1931 at Golders Green, London. His mother's maiden name was Jacobs.
He married Jacqueline Marian Malinsky in 1958 at Marylebone, London, and they had a son, Adam Nachum Goulston b 30 April 1961, Cincinatti, Ohio.
