Biography

Thomas Gower was born about 1861 in Milton, Kent, England.^[1] He was baptized in Milton on 27 Jan 1861 to Thomas and Ann Gower.^[2] He was a journeyman butcher by 1881.^[3]

Thomas married Emily Rogers in Luton, Kent on 18 Jun 1882.^[4]

In the 1901 England census, Thomas Gower (born 1861 in Milton) was married to Emily Gower (born 1863 in Chatham). They were living in Sittingbourne, Kent, with their children Thomas (19), Caroline A (18), Walter (16), Alice E (14), Nellie (13), George L (11), Emily (7), Horace W (5), Stanley V (2) and Frank R (7 months). Thomas was a butcher.^[5]

Thomas died in the Milton registration district in 1926.^[6]
