Information provided by Sheila Francis William Gowland m. 1839 in Etobicoke Twp. His farm was lot 16 Concession 2 SDR, Bentinck Twp, Grey County in 1879, which he had bought fro his sons Edmond and Sammuel, and Lot 8/9 Cpnc 3 SDR in 1877. On the 1881 Census William's age os different but he is the right one.
