Jena was a daughter of Latvian native Isaac Jacob Grad and Lithuanian native Sheiny Bluma Jaffe. She was born in Latvia in about 1905.[1]
Gena Grad of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, was married to Archie Zoberblatt, sailor of Cordova, Alaska, on 24 January 1927, in Vancouver. He was recorded as 28 years old and she was 22; both were of the "Hebrew" faith and neither was previously married. He signed his name Arshie Zoberblatt and she signed as Jena Grad.[1]
