Aged Woman Dies At Patterson Mrs. Sarah L. Greene, Over 90 Years of Age Passes After Illness One of Caldwell county's oldest citizens, Mrs. Sarah L. Greene died at the home of her son-in-law, Green Miller, at Patterson last Wednesday morning. She was 90 years three months and seven days of age and widely known throught the upper section of Caldwell and lower Watauga counties. Mrs. Greene has been ill for about five weeks, suffering from complications of old age. Her death was not entirely unexpected. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Greene at Green Cove cemetery, Watauga county, on Thursday morning, attended by a host of friends and relatives. Mrs. Greene was the wife of Elisha Greene and is survived by the following children: J. L., of Eureka, Mont.; Robey, J. G., Clinard and Courtney Greene of Stony Fork, Watauga county; Mrs. Henry Campbell of West Jefferson; Mrs. C. E. Trivett of Baldwin, Md., and Mrs. F. G. Miller, of Patterson. There are 54 grandchildren, 114 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. ^{[1][2][3][4][5]}
