In 1923 Joseph was living at 1226 Jackson Blvd, Chicago, Illinois, US when he applied for US Naturalization. His application was declined because of "want of prosecution and ignorance". [4][1]
Burial at Saint Michael Cemetery, Tyndall, Brokenhead, Manitoba.[14]
