Military
Colonel Graham fought in the First World War, where he was wounded twice, and was mentioned in dispatches four times. He was awarded the Victory Medal, the Military Cross (M.C.), the 1914 Star, and the Croix de Guerre. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1919. He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Irish Ulster Rifles, 6th Leinster Regiment.
Between 1934 and 1938 he was Commander of the Shanghai Volunteer Corps and was Group Commandant of the Royal Observer Corps. Colonel Graham also fought in the Second World War. [6]
