Robert Grahame/Graham was christened 3 March 1601 ,(birth date likely to be in 1587) in Stirlingshire, Scotland. He was the son of Johnne Graham and Marion Thomson ^{[1] [2] [3] [4]}.

• Birth date is likely to be 1587, with the Christening not taking place ( or registered ) until 1601
• Robert is thought to have had a first marriage to a Margaret Smyth and they had a child named William born 1600 in Dunning,Perth. Mother and child thought to have died at the time of the birth or soon after. If this marriage took place Robert would only have been about 13 yrs.
