Cecelia Marie "Cissy" Gramlich Anderson, 83, of Liberty, Mo., passed away on January 18, 2008, at her home. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., with a scripture service at 7 p.m., on Friday, January 25, at the Park Lawn Northland Chapel, 1-35 at M-291 Hwy., Liberty. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 26, at the St. Raphael Church, 5401 N. Sycamore. Interment will be at a later date in the St. John's Cemetery in Clear Creek, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Liberty Hospital Hospice. Cissy was born March 2, 1924, in Cooper County, Mo., the daughter of Ollie Frank and Stella Catherine (Weimholt) Gramlich. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert "Bob" Anderson; a brother, Estil "Boots" Gramlich; and an infant sister, Norma Lee Gramlich. Cissy spent her entire career in retail shoe sales as a buyer and sales person for Emery-Byrd-Thayer and later Woolf Brothers in Kansas City until she retired to care for her husband, Bob. Survivors include her brother, Vincent "Punkin" Gramlich and wife Mildred "Mert" of Kansas City; her sister, Shirley Ann Gramlich Knipp of Liberty, Mo.; a cousin, Adolph Gramlich of the home, and several nieces, nephews and their families.
