Biography

Ruth was born in 1737, the daughter of George Granger and |Ann Holcomb]]. [1] She married Ezra Hoskins. <[2] An error in the Launcelot Granger states she married Ezra Hopkins, Jr. rather than Ezra Hoskins Sr.

In Ezra's Will, he gave Ruth his riding mare, one cow, six sheep, 8 cider barrels, and all his household furniture as well as the North half of his home and half the cellar of said home. Also the lot the house stands on.

His Will also directed their son Carmi to give cider to be stored in her half of the cellar, cur wood, 2/3rds the hay, half the produce, about 7 acres of plowed land and use of pastures. [3]

She passed away in 1812.
