Biography

Rosa was born about 1877. She passed away about 1958. In the 1940 census she is 63 yrs old. Her husband, James, is still living and 2 of her children and 3 grandchildren are living with them. In the 1910 census of Alabama City, etowah, AL, Rose is listed as 32 years old. She has been married to James for 9 years and had 3 children (all living): Ara (female) 6, Jack (female) 1 yr and 10 months, Guy one month old. They have 2 boarders living with them: Oliver Grant 22, single, carpenter for the Steel Mill; and May B. Owen 76 and a widow. They lived in a rented house (not on a farm) and James was a piano salesman.
