Was wondering if you middle name is Ian? My brother's name is Geoffrey Ian Grant, and amazingly coincidental.

We are really happy that you took the Pre-1700 certification Quiz. Thank you for doing your part to make WikiTree an accurate and openly collaborative place for genealogists to share their research.
Do you have some 1700's people in your tree already ? Now that you have the badge, you can take part in one of our projects.
Have a great day !

Looks like your information has set off a flurry of activity. I hope you don't mind! I am glad that it has sparked some new ideas, and you have to let me know about the one name study. I've been wanting to do this for the Lockhart name, and sort have been working towards this, so please keep me posted on the process. Thanks again for the lead on Chapman. Nae

On another note..ah ha! a source for Grants! IF you ever come across information on a CHAPMAN (J or G) Grant-4115 1760-1857 VA. OR Matilda Grant-4011 (married a Cheuvront) about 1780-1803 Virginia (buried Good Hope Masonic Cemetery Goodhope Harrison County West Virginia). The Melinda is more important to me (my direct line) but Chapman's daughter Belinda also married a Cheuvront (Brothers). LOL
Thanks, and let me know about posting on the clan page. Nae
