Isaac Grant was the fifth child of Thomas Grant and Elizabeth Rockwell. He was born at East Windsor, Connecticut, Oct. 20, 1734.
He married at Colchester, Nov. 1780, Hannah (Treadway) Skinner [b. 1748; d. E. Windsor Sep. 4, 1837; dau. of Jas. Treadway and Sarah Munn; wid. of Timothy Skinner, of Wapping]. They resided at Wapping, Connecticut. There was one child of this family:
Isaac Grant was a farmer; was a great reader, and had a large library, which was given to the E. Windsor Theological Seminary.
Isaac Grant served as Ensign in 4th Co. 19th Regt. 1775.
He was a lister, surveyor [1].
Isaac Grant died at E. Windsor, Connecticut, Sep. 29, 1816.
