Biography
Charles was the son of James and Harriet Grant and was born in Crowcombe, Somerset. He was with his parents in the 1881 census. [1]
In the 1891 census, Charles is an unmarried police constable in Bristol. [2]
Charles Grant married Elizabeth Mary Creeth in 1891. [3]
In the 1901 census, Charles and Elizabeth Mary are living in Bristol with Elizabeth Mary's sister Florence Marian Creeth. [4]
In 1911, Charles and Elizabeth Mary are still living in Bristol. [5]
He is probably the Charles Grant buried 1932 in Crowcombe, Somerset, where he was born. There is an Elizabeth Mary Grant buried in the same churchyard who is likely his wife (see under Elizabeth Mary). [6]
