Fiore registered for the World War I draft stating that he previously he was an alien At that time he was 29 years old. He stated that he was a truck driver working for Ralph Mazzoni. At the time of registration, he had a wife and three children.
Fiore Fiore registered for the World War I draft stating that he previously had served in the Italian Army (6th Regiment) in beginning in 1911 for 2 1/2 years. But hr gave no further information.
Fiore wore a Van Dyke beard and was apparently quite handsome.
Fiore immigrated (age 39) to the United States for a second time on May 1, 1927. He was a passenger on the ship Duilio which arrived in New York harbor from Genoa and Naples, Italy.

The ships passenger list describes him as 5'7" and 157 lbs.
In 1930 Fiore and his family live in a rented home on Arthur Place in West, New York in Hudson County. He speaks Italian and English and can read and write in both languages even though he has not attended school in New York. He has become a naturalized US citizen. He lives with his wife Philomina and the following children: Mary Grasso, Louise Grasso, Frank Grasso, Fiorentino Grasso, Philomina Grasso, and. Antoinette Grasso.
