Biography

William Graves jr was born at Heck, Yorkshire^[1] and baptised at Snaith in 1739. He was the son of William Graves.^[2]

He married Elizabeth Pilkington at Snaith in 1764.^[3] Witnesses were Richard Ringrose and Joseph Shillito.^[4]

William passed away prior to 1793, when his probate, which listed William as a yeoman, was approved. It mentions the following people:^[5]
