Biography

John Gray was an American silversmith. He was apprenticed to John Coney who was also the master of Apollos Rivoire, father of Paul Revere.

John Gray was born in 1692 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts Colony, the son of Samuel Gray and Susanna (Langdon) Gray. He was brother of silversmith, Samuel Gray. John married Mary Christophers on October 14, 1714 in New London, Connecticut.
