Biography
Ottie was born in 1891. She was the daughter of Thomas Gray and Mary LeMar.
Ottie was married to John Steel 16 Oct 1905 in Greene County, Arkansas.[1] Ottie was 14 and John Steel was 21.
In 1910[2], Ottie and John are living in Jones, Arkansas. Ottie is now 18 and she and John have been married for 5 years. They have 2 daughters, Daisy (4) and Clara (2). They are renting their home and John is farming.
In 1920[3] the family has moved to Evening Shade, Arkansas. John is farming and they are renting their home. Their family has grown by 4 - Oliver (9), Thelma (7), May (5), and Dack (3). The census was taken on 14 Jan 1920.
On 2 Mar 1920, Ottie Viola died. She was 29 years old.
