Elizabeth was born in 1838. She is the daughter of Nathaniel Gray and Sarah Edmonds. She married to George Warren Fitzhugh and was his second wife. George was the son of William Dedman Fitzhugh who was the eldest son of William Fitzhugh and his first wife, Elizabeth Dedman.
