Biography

James H Gray was born to Hugh and Ann Gray in Boston in 1850; they lived at 8 Belmont. His father was a cooper and both parents were born in Montreal. ("L.B." is noted next to the city for Hugh).[1]

In 1855 at age 5, he lived in Boston with his parents and younger siblings Anna and Mary.[2]

In 1860 at age 10, he lived in Boston with his parents and younger siblings Mary, Anna, and Thomas.[3]
