Biography
on of the late Thomas Edward and Mary Jane Gladson Gray, he served in the U.S. Army during WWII receiving a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. He was a member of Pactolus Baptist Church. He was a farmer until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Geneva Ingalls Gray in 1985. He was survived by his wife, Wanda Toler Gray; sons, James Robert "Jimmy" Gray, Jr., and his wife Sandra, Stanley E. Gray and his wife Debra, and Victor J. Gray and his wife Beth; daughters Sheila lark and Katrina Lane; sister, Doris Langley; grandchildren, James Robert "Jim" Gray, III, Winnie G. white, Jason L. Gray, Daniel T. Gray and Cathy Lane; eight grandchildren. His graveside service was held December 8, 2008.
