Henry lived a very short life, only living to the age of 29. But during that time he served in the military, married and had three daughters. His middle daughter died shortly after he did. His wife remarried and had two children by her second husband, who raised his step-daughters as tho they were his own.

US Find a grave index; lists birth & death info and that he was buried at St. Patrick Cem., Henry, Illinois. States that he was struck and killed by lightning while on a combine in 1925. His wife, Alice, was pregnant with their daughter, Henrietta.
