Biography

William was born about 1813. He was the son of Francis Gray and Letitia Givens. He married to Esther "Ellen" McMillin in 1853. He appears to have passed prior to 1870 with no additional children born after 1860 and Ellen listed as head of household in the 1880 census.

Note: Marriage documentation for William B. claims he was 40 and single. He and Hester were listed as age 48 and age 28 in the 1860 census. His birth year is estimated by the marriage record and 1860 census.
