My adoptive father Bruce ("I only ever needed the one name") Gray's tree is pretty small, his Mother was adopted in 1880 Myrtle Mary Shield. His father, Porter James Gray's parents were Samuel Gray and Frances Porter both born in Ireland and died in Perrytown ON. No further info yet...
My mother Winnifred Mae Haley was a member of one of the largest NB families. Someone once said to me that the only thing NB had more of than Cormiers and Mittons was rabbits. Mom was descended from the Mitton family and at least one of the Pennsylvania Deutsch families who founded New Brunswick Canada. The German family were/was Steeves (Stief).
I am retired but I do write stories and am a co-author of six self published books. I read my stories to anyone who will listen.
Have you taken a DNA test for genealogy? If so, login to add it. If not, see our friends at Ancestry DNA.

Thanks for becoming pre-1700 certified. Now that you will be working on older profiles you will find yourself collaborating more with others. The best way to do this is by joining a project. Have a look at our list of pre-1700 projects and see if any are of interest to you. Give me a shout if you have any questions.
Thanks, Susie :-)

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful. Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies. If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles. Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations. If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page. _____ Matt~ WikiTree Mentor

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.
Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.
Good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree :)
