Biography
Doris Oreti (Gray) Instone was born on 6 May 1916 in Wellington, New Zealand, daughter of John Gray and Mary Emily Elizabeth (Deaker) Gray (1875 - 1961).[1]
Her siblings were:

The 1941 electoral rolls suggest that Dorrie was single and residing in Invercargill.[2]
She married Douglas Smith in 1950. [3] He died in 1953. [4]
Dorry then married Frank Instone in 1956.[5] They had a daughter ...
- Joy Instone.
Doris died in 2001 in New Zealand aged ~85,[6] and her remains were interred in the Whenua Tapu Cemetery.[7]
