Silas was born in 1880. Silas Grayson was the son of William Elija Grayson and Lodoska (Swing) Grayson. [1] On December 1, 1903 he married Grace Lett in Tipton, Indiana. [2] She passed away in 1909. On the 1910 Census he is listed as widowed in the household of his mother with a four year old son (Charles W Grayson). [3]
He was remarried in Sharpsville, Indiana on April 4, 1911 to Lovey (Lowey) E. Lindsay (the daughter of John F. Lindsay and Ida B (Baxter) Lindsay). [4] The couple is listed together on the following census reports:
