Leroy Grayson Jr is a part of US Black heritage.
Services for Leroy Grayson, 82, of Seama Village in Laguna Pueblo, N.M., included a Rosary on Friday, June 8, 2012, 6 p.m., at the home of Rosemary Grayson.
Burial was in the New York Village Cemetery, at the Laguna Pueblo, at 11 a.m., on Saturday, June 9, 2012.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on April 15, 1930, to Doris Hayman and Le Roy Grayson.
Leroy passed away June 6, 2012.
He was married to Rosemary Grayson on Oct. 1,1958.
Leroy retired from the U.S. Air Force. He was a proud and humble man who served his country for many years.
Leroy spent his life caring for his wife and family. He was a profound person with many attributes and a loving heart.
He was very compassionate, loving, caring, and a family man.
Leroy is survived by his wife: Rosemary Grayson; daughter-in-law: Yvonne Shije; two sisters: Gertrude and Geraldine; brothers: John, William, and Thomas; grandchildren; Candace G, Jonah G, and Megan S.; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and other relatives on both sides of the family.
