The Josiah Green 1793-1855 who is husband of Rebecca Long in Kentucky is FS PID L4YM-BDB. This one died in Sangamon Co, IL. This is the one in the Sangamon County history, but this entry in WikiTree should be for the first one.
2. WikiTree says he was born in South Carolina. The 1860 census says TN and the 1870 census says NC. 3. The Biography says he died in 1855, which disagrees with the grave. 4. This entry states he is the father of John Newton Green, who was born 1824 in TN. Josiah Green married Fanny B Norman in 1823 in TN. My conclusion is that this entry is confused with a different Josiah Green who married a Rebecca Long in Kentucky.
