Alphonso T Green was born on April 22, 1900, in Washington, District of Columbia, when his father, James, was 30 and his mother, Virginia, was 30. ^[1] He married Grace Lillian Vollin on July 25, 1942, in the District of Columbia. ^[2] They had six children during their marriage. He died in January 1966 in Arlington, Virginia at the age of 65.
