Emma Frances Green[1] was born on February 9, 1843[2], in Alexandria, Virginia, the child of James Greene and Jane Muir. She married Benjamin Franklin Stringfellow in January 23, 1867 in Alexandria, Virginia. She died in Charlottesville, Virginia on March 24, 1929, and was buried next to her husband in the Ivy Hill Cemetery, Alexandria Virginia[3].
