George Washington Green was born in 1852 in North Carolina of John Green and Nancy Fisher of North Carolina. He married Margaret E. (1849-1938) and had child George Henry Green (1888-1942) . He died 4 Jan 1917 in Edneyville, Henderson, North Carolina [1] He was buried in Barnwell Baptist Church Cemetery, Henderson County, North Carolina [2]
