Hi Michelle

Thank you for self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge.

Participation in a project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles.

Adding location tags your profile may help with your family research. Please remember to use location names of the time period with the modern location in the notes or biography.

Explore the list of active projects to see if one fits your needs. This one may be of interest and is the one suggested by Cheryl Puritan Great Migration.

Do you have any questions? Let me know. I'm happy to help! :-)

Hi Michelle, When I got my recent WikiTree feed, I noticed that you are interested in the PGM Project. I work with PGM also, and want you to know that you would be welcomed warmly. Check out the project page to learn more about it, and be sure you know about sourcing, and inline citations. WikiTree has mentors available, or if I can be of assistance please ask. Have a wonderful day!

How's everything going?

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Hi,

Welcome to WikiTree! The email we just sent has helpful links to get you started.

WikiTree is different than other genealogy websites because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we share ancestors and work together as a BIG collaborative team!

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree?

When you confirm your email address, you’ll be given an opportunity to volunteer to help document our collective family history. Use the Tags and comments to tell us about your genealogical interests.

When you volunteer, one of our Greeters will confirm your membership. Then you'll be able to add your family to the tree!

We're really glad you're here!
