Biography
William Riley Green married Hannah Hallett 17 Oct 1865 in Carleton Co., N.B. They had three daughters, Rhoda Green who married George Derrah, Amelia Green who married Judson Rudolph Tompkins, and Lillian Mary Green (b. 1869) who married Clarence E. Hayward. After Hannah Hallett died in 1871, William Riley Green married Helen Blanche Hatch who was born in 1856 in Littleton, Aroostook Co., Maine. They lived first in the Parish of Kent, Carleton, Co., and later in Plaster Rock, Victoria Co., N.B., and had several children. There is speculation that William Riley Green's parents were William Green and Elsie or Eliza Tompkins, but I have been unable to find any records for evidence if this is true.
