Biography

Genealogically Defined

Abraham was born on the 22nd November 1804[1] at Stisted, Essex, England[2] and baptised on the 6th January 1805 at All Saints, Stisted, Essex, England, the son of Richard Green & Sarah Green[1]

On the 15th November 1832, Abraham married widow Rachel Hawkes at All Saints, Stisted, Essex, England. Witnessed by William Brown and Sarah Brown[3]

Abraham's wife Rachel died in 1842 and was buried 15th January 1842 at All Saints, Stisted, Essex, England.[4]

Abraham married Hannah Thorn in 1843 in Essex, England[5]

Abraham died aged 98 years in 1903[6] at Stisted, Essex, England and was buried on the 22nd January 1903 at All Saints, Sisted, Essex, England[7].

Research Notes

Ann born abt. June 1840 buried 1841 was assumed to be Abraham's daughter Mahala Ann, There is no birth registration or baptism for Ann but a birth registration for Mahala Ann. The only other Green having children at Stisted was Abraham's brother William, but he had a son George born and baptised in 1840.
