NB She had Susan (Susanna) before she married William Lake. So was William Susan's father? There's nothing to say he was. Susan was using Green at the time of her marriage - 1824

Sheila (Walmsley) Johnson wrote in 1982 that she had visited Norfolk with her Auntie Beattie and Uncle Alec, and they had met an old shopkeeper "about Grannie's age" (ie Frances Jones's age) who remembered the family by names and also an illegitimate cousin of theirs called Jimmy Lake "who got his scholarship in Doking..." ...
