Benjamin died in Dinsdale Park Asylum, County Durham, England in 1858.[3][4] He was buried with his parents in Jesmond Old Cemetery, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England.[5] Benjamin left his estate (effects under £450) to his sister Isabella Addison:
2 May Letters of Administration of the Personal estate and effects of Benjamin Green late of Dinsdale Park in the Parish of Dinsdale in the County of Durham Architect a Bachelor deceased who died 14 November 1858 at Dinsdale Park aforesaid were granted to Isabella Addison (Wife of John Addison of Castle-hill Maryport in the County of Cumberland) the Sister and only Next of Kin of the said deceased she having been first sworn.[6]
Research Notes
Wikipedia and Graces guide assert that Benjamin had a brother John Green who lived until 1868, contradicting the letters of administration (see above) which state that his sister Isabella was his only next of kin when he died. Humphrey-6461 21:13, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
