Bridget Mary Green (married name Vallence) was born around 1840 in Limerick, Ireland, the daughter of Johanna Barrett and Michael Green.^[1]

She emigrated to Australia in 1856 on the "Ocean Monarch".^[2]

She married Henry Vallence in 1861.^[3]. Their children were:

• Jane Matilda Vallence (1867–1903)^[4]
• Michael Vallence (1875?–1951)^[5]

Bridget died in 1925 in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, Australia, aged 85 years.^[1]
