Mary (Green) Beer was born in Devon, England.

Mary Ann Green was born in 1805 in Cheriton Bishop, Devon, England. Her parents were William Green and Sarah Hill. She was christened on 5 May 1805 at their local parish in Cheriton Bishop, Devon. [1]

She married James Beer on 25 Feb 1827 at Tedburn St Mary, Devon, England, United Kingdom through Banns and no impediment. They both signed with an x. Rector Chas Burne performed the ceremony and Charlotte Hanbury and Absalom Rolle were their witnesses.[2] They had 8 children together.

In 1851 she was 48 in Tedburn St Mary, Devon, England with her husband (48) and 4 children, Susan (16), William (10), Harriet (5) and Ann (2), all born in Tedburn St Mary, Devonshire. John was working as an agriculture laborer. [4]

In 1861 she was living with her husband at their home on Okenhampton Road in Tedburn, Devon, England. John was employed as a laborer. [5]

In 1871 she was living with her husband, son in law John Powlesland (48) and granddaughter Ellen Powlesland (8) at their home in Tedburn, Devon, England. [6]

On November 30, 1877 Mary Ann Beer died at Browns Court, Cowick-street, St Thomas, Devon, England, United Kingdom at the age of 74 years. [7]
