The parentage of Elizabeth Green is not certain. Some have theorized that she was the daughter of a Henry Green, but none of the Henry Green's I have researched appeared likely to be the father of this Elizabeth Green (either too young or another daughter named Elizabeth with a different birth year or married someone else. There is also some evidence that she may have been the daughter of William Green Sr. (abt.1756-abt.1830) who lived in Douglas Parish, York County and stated in land grant applications that he was the father of 13 children, only some of whom have been identified.
