In 1871 Julia [Jules] G Green (age 1) was a nurse child living in Kingston on Thames, Surrey with Sophia Walker (65) and her granddaughter Edith Rainbird (8, Scholar). [A nurse child was a young child being brought up in the household of
someone other than the parents, normally for money, leaving the parent/parents free to work. Somewhat like a foster-child. Often (but not always) the child would be illegitimate.]
In 1881 Gerrard Green (age 11, Scholar) was an inmate in Norwood, Middlesex. [Most likely he was living in a workhouse.]

Gerard and Ada had six children: Elizabeth Green (1902-), Ada Mary Green (1904-), Annie May Green (1906-), Gerard Thomas Green (1908-), Ellen Jane Green (1910-), and Winifred Mabel Green (1912-).
In 1901 Gerard Green (age 31, Bank Messenger) lived at St John Street in St Sepulchre, London with his wife Ada (31) and mother Mary Ann Green (64, House Keeper Domestic).
In 1911 Jules Gerard Green (age 42, Dairyman) lived in Preston, Sussex with his wife Ada (41) and five children: Elizabeth (9), Ada Mary (7), Annie May (5), Gerard Thomas (3), and Ellen Jane (0), as well as his mother Mary Ann Green (73, Private Means).
Gerard's wife Ada passed away in 1921.
Jules G Green married Louisa C Punchard in 1923. The marriage was registered in Cuckfield, Sussex in the first quarter of the year.
