Biography
Eleanor Green, born in 1704 in Westchester County, New York, was probably the daughter of George Green b, 1675 England (m. Margaret Curton), son of Thomas Green b. 1652 England (m. Elizabeth Waring). There are numerous TREES on ancestry.com showing this information. Further research needs to be done on the ancestry of Eleanor Green.
She married Richard Ferguson about 1720 in Chappaqua, Westchester County, New York.
In fact, the GREEN family married into the Ferguson family again: Eleanor Green's son Farrington Ferguson married Rachel GREEN. One would tend to expect they were cousins, but perhaps there were numerous GREEN families in the area. Further work needs to be done. [Lilly Martin]
