Biography
Dicey was set as born abt 1775 in Rutherford, North Carolina of father Shadrick Green ... and mother Rachel Smith ... However the Shadrick who was said to be her father is connected to a Will in Maryland so this parentage is WRONG. Since she supposedly named a son Shadrack Green Melton she probably was the dau of another Shadrack Green. She is said to have married to Cornelius Melton 1793 in Rutherford, North Carolina but the ref given was for Silas, the father of Cornelius. She supposedly died abt 1850 in Alabama, USA.
