1910 census: Saleslady, father born in Germany, mother listed as born in NY. Marriage to Joseph Constine listed as her first. Lived at 1637 Sacramento St., San Francisco.
1920 census lists a Hinda Constine at 1580 Jackson in San Francisco, head of household, age 37, no occupation, with son Aston, age 12. Says parents were born in "W.S." Appears to say she was divorced. Living in the same building, 4 listings below on the census sheet, from her stepmother, Annie (Anna in census) Greenberg.
Either Joe Constine died, or they were divorced, before 1926, when Meyer Greenberg's obituary shows her married to Al Childs.
1940 Census she was at 895 Sutter St. SF, age 67, with Al Childs, age 74. He was born in Canada (English) and had 8 years of schooling. She had 4 years of high school.
Was very close to her sister-in-law Theresa Greenberg.
Died a very painful death from cancer, according to Barbara Fenichel.
Obituary says she has three grandchildren. [where is this?]
Last address: 895 Sutter St., Apt. 404, San Francisco.
Mortuary records say she was cremated.
