Susannah Greene was born in Rhode Island on 16 Jul 1694 of Benjamin Greene and Susannah Holden. ^[2] She married Phillip Arnold on 10 Jun 1714 in Rhode Island. ^{[3] [4]}

When Susannah's father, Captain Benjamin Greene, died in 1757, in his will dated 10/27/1755 he left her sons Philip and Stephen a part of his farm, called "Sennasset" (situated on the north side of the Pauwtuxet River, about a half a mile from Arnold's Bridge (Dutee Arnold's place). Susannah Arnold passed away abt 1746 and apparently left a will. ^{[6] [7]}
