Elizabeth was born 27 Jun 1728 in Warwick, Rhode Island, USA the daughter of Richard Greene and Elizabeth (Godfrey) Greene.[1] She was baptized (called Elizabeth Jr. as her mother is listed above her) by immersion on 12 Jun 1756.[2]
There is no record of Elizabeth having been married, a fact attested to in The Greenes of Rhode Island, with historical records of English ancestry, 1534-1902;
by Greene, George Sears, 1801-1899 page 144. Also, mention was made of a will
dated 31 Jan 1805, and proved 4 Apr 1816 though no copy of it has been found to date. [3]
Elizabeth passed away 19 Mar 1816[4] and is reportedly buried in the Stone Castle Lot; Warwick, Kent County, Rhode Island.[5]
Research Notes:
The date of 29 Mar 1816 as mentioned in Newspapers and Journals covering her death appears to be the date of their publication of her death details, not her actual death date.[6][7]
