From Wheeler (1900) History of Stonington, pg 401, no. 21 [1]:
"Lucy [Grant] b. May 9 1732, m. Caleb Green of Westerly R.I., Nov. 9 1750." This coincides with the entry for Lucy Grant in The Grant Family genealogy (1898), p. 20, no. 11403 [2].
From Bailey, "Early Connecticut marriages as found on ancient church records prior to 1800", vol 1, pg 56: [3]
"Caleb Greene of Westerly & Lucy Grant of Stonington, Nov. 7, 1750."

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Caleb by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Caleb:
Yes, I'm quite sure that he (John Green, b. about 4 Apr 1755 at Stonington, CT, who became the husband of Esther Holmes) was a son of Lucy Grant & Caleb Green. That's the way he has appeared in my database for several years, however I didn't have sufficiently probitive data from a credible source to construct his profile and connect him to his parents. If you have sufficient evidence to now do that, please proceed.
I've created a profile for John, and connected him to parents and spouse. All based on the probate record of Caleb. I would still like to find a proper birth record for John. Also his brothers Caleb and Matthew.
