Lieutenant Job Greene served with 2nd Rhode Island Regiment, Continental Army during the American Revolution.

Job was a son of Colonel Christopher Greene. [1]

Job was a lieutenant in the Second Regiment of the Rhode Island State Brigade, in the Continental service, and an original member of the Rhode Island Society of the Cincinnati. He was a member of the Rhode House of Representatives and a State Senator. He was married to Abagail Rhodes of Stonington, Connecticut. (Greenes of Rhode Island) [2]
