Sarah Greene was born on 16 May 1752 in Warwick, Kent, Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, daughter of Philip Greene (1705–1791) and Elizabeth (Wickes) Greene (1707–1776).

Sarah died on 18 Jan 1820 in Marietta, Washington, Ohio, United States, aged 67.[1]
Sarah (16) married Griffin Greene (19) (born on 20 Feb 1749 in Warwick, Rhode Island; son of Jabez Greene and Susannah (Arnold) Greene) on 16 Feb 1769 in Providence, Providence, Rhode Island. Their son was Richard Greene (1769–1805).
