Herbert Allan Greentree was born in 1908 in New South Wales, Australia to Henry Clement Greentree and Ethel (Woods) Greentree.[1]

He married Edna May Maisey in 1936.[2]

Herbert died on May 6, 1987 and was buried at Lochinvar Anglican Cemetery in Lochinvar, New South Wales.
